Evan Weiss, a Seattle native, joined TAS in as Program Director in 2010 after three years as the Head Alpine Coach at two NCAA Division I college programs: University of Nevada at Reno and Western State College of Colorado. Evan was responsible for both the men's and women's squads.

Prior to becoming a coach, Evan raced at Dartmouth College and on the U.S. Ski Team.  Among Evan's racing accomplishments include a Jr. National Combined Championship, a third place at the U.S. National Giant Slalom, and multiple NCAA All-American performances.  Ski racing travels have taken him across the world, several times, racing and training in over a dozen countries.

Evan is an avid fisherman, mountain biker, and aspiring kite boarder.
